Psychotherapy

I offer individual psychotherapy to adults seeking a deeper understanding of themselves and the patterns that may be limiting their lives or relationships. I work with people exploring the complexities of identity, sexuality, creativity, and relational life. Sometimes there’s a specific issue—like self-esteem, anxiety, or the aftermath of trauma—and sometimes there’s simply a wish to live with more freedom and a deeper sense of self.

My work is shaped by exploring life at the margins, or what Gloria Anzaldúa calls the “borderlands.” Some patients are navigating identities that have been culturally or historically marginalized. Others bring a quieter sense of otherness—a feeling of not belonging, of wondering if they are “good enough,” or of struggling to trust their own intuition.

My approach draws from relational and attachment perspectives, with attention to how early relationships shape our emotional lives and ways of being with others. I see therapy as a sustained, collaborative process where unconscious material can emerge and be engaged over time. I typically meet with patients one to three times per week, depending on what feels most useful.

Sessions are 45 minutes and offered remotely or in person. I am licensed in both Massachusetts and New York.

My fee is $200 per session. I accept Blue Cross Blue Shield and can provide monthly superbills for those seeking out-of-network reimbursement.
